Worship at Grace Church
Why do we sing?
The people of God have always been compelled to express hearty devotion to the Lord through song. The ancient Hebrews sang and danced after God rescued them from Pharaoh after they crossed the Red Sea. Jesus sang a psalm in the Garden of Gethsemane with his disciples before his crucifixion.

What is worship?
Worship is a response of the heart to the goodness of God,
expressed both individually and corporately, through
praise, obedience, and participation in His covenant.

What will we sing?
In the distant past, the book of Psalms was the hymnbook of people of Israel. Historically, there have been a much more limited number of hymns that the Church used in regular worship gatherings together. Our modern times have seen an explosion in the number of songs being produced and sung by various church traditions. We aim to glorify Christ and edify the body with theologically and rich, Scripture-saturated excellent songs that encourage corporate congregational singing.
