Our Mission
To make disciples for the glory of Christ
and the good of our city.
Our mission statement is about fulfilling the great commission in the spirit of the great commandment.
THE GREAT COMMISSION
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matt. 28:18-20)
THE GREAT COMMANDMENT
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matt. 22:37-39)
Making Disciples
We desire that every person in the Tri-Cities and beyond will hear the gospel and make a faith commitment to follow Jesus Christ.
Exalting Christ
Jesus Christ is worthy of our worship, which is expressed through our songs of praise, our trust in him, and our obedience to his commands.
Blessing Our City
We believe God has blessed us so that we can be a blessing to others. We do this through loving our neighbors and seeking to see the righteous rule of God realized in every corner of our community.
Our Core Values
All of life is worship.
As we grow to appreciate the goodness of God, it will affect every aspect of our lives – from the songs we sing on Sunday to the ways we spend our free time during the week. Every square inch of the universe belongs to God, and true worship rejoices in that.
The local church is a family.
We’re not a business seeking customers; we’re a family committed to loving each other. This means intentionally seeking to preserve unity, bear one another’s burdens, and use every resource at our disposal to build each other up.
We love Pasco.
Every local church has a community to reach, and ours is Pasco, WA. We see the rapidly growing neighborhoods of Pasco as an amazing opportunity from the Lord. There are many thousands of people here who need to know and experience the love of Christ, and we have the great privilege of helping them do just that.
We want the whole world to know the love of Christ.
The gospel is the good news that God loves us and offers us peace with him through his Son, Jesus. Our goal as the people of God should be nothing less than taking the gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth, for the glory of God, by the power of God. Anything less, and we’ve failed to fully understand the gospel. The gospel is good news, but it’s also a call to action. Everyone, everywhere needs to know this message, and our local church gets to be part of making that happen.
