We also call this brief service "Tenebrae", which means darkness in the Latin language. It has been a tradition passed down through the centuries, where the people of God would gather and mourn the wounds and pains of Jesus, who endured suffering to fulfill our redemption through His blood.

We will sing a few songs, hear a brief meditation from Pastor Adam, then sit under the reading of the Passion of Christ (The Sufferings of King Jesus) from selected portions from John's Gospel. At the end, all the candles will be extinguished, and then everyone will depart in sober silence.

Children of all ages are extremely welcome to join in this service - there is no childcare.
